In the context of steel pipes complying with the European standard EN 10219-1, intended for structural applications, FERPINTA has launched a sizing support tool, which enables to verify the performance of steel pipes (with circular, square and rectangular sections) in terms of mechanical strength and stability.
It is a practical and accessible tool, available for computers, smartphones and tablets that allows
- access the catalogue and features of Ferpinta tubes (Tubular Menu)
- identify equivalent tubes, which replace type I and H profiles (Equivalent Tubes Menu)
- calculate and verify the resistance of beams and columns in tube (Designers and Study Cabinets)
